Do you have criteria regarding the products you post from sellers?
Yes. For a product to appear on this site, its seller must meet certain criteria, which are established once we agree to feature him / her / it. (A seller, in this sense usually means a popular, well-established company, such as Amazon, but can also mean a smaller independently-run business if it receives a good amount of conversion.) Let's use eBay as an example in our selection process. Because of the risky nature of the business, a product on this site must come from a seller / reseller with at least 90% positive feedback, a score of 60 or higher and whose account is no less than a year old. It must also be in VERY GOOD or BETTER condition and, if up for auction, have at least 3 bids at the time of consideration. Amazon, which also permits reselling, is subject to similar criteria. Other resellers, such as Barnes & Noble and Hastings undergo stricter treatment. Because they aren't used as frequently as Amazon or eBay, their sellers must have higher ratings, scores and other such feedback. We set these standards to help our users find quality products with plenty of resell value.
